Mentor, OH – February 10, 20073⁄4 Holmbury Inc. introduces its new line of High Pressure Ball Seal Screw Hydraulic Couplings for industrial applications.

High Pressure Ball Seal Screwed Couplings can be connected and disconnected even with a low residual hydraulic pressure in the line. The screw connection mechanism eliminates Brinelling (indentation of the locking balls into the retaining groove) making the couplings suitable for high pressures and pressure pulse applications.

Holmbury’s HPA Series Couplings are compatible with all high pressure pump and cylinder manufacturers, such as Enerpac, SPX, Larzep and Hi-force. Standard materials available include Zinc plated carbon steel body material with nitrile seals and PTFE backing ring. Other seal materials are available upon request.

Holmbury’s HPA Series has a high-pressure rating and working pressure range of up to 10,000 PSI and a flow range of up to 10 GPM and are available in sizes 1/4” and 3/8”. Popular interchanges include Parker 3000 Series and “Enerpac” Couplings.
